We are looking for a strategic, commercially driven, and results-oriented Head of Acquisition to lead customer growth, optimize onboarding journeys, and drive customer activation across Axis's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute customer acquisition, activation, and onboarding strategies aligned with Axis's commercial growth objectives.

• Lead end-to-end customer acquisition across digital and offline channels, strategic partnerships, and special programs.

• Establish and monitor growth KPIs, including acquisition volume, CAC, activation rate and onboarding conversion.

• Manage acquisition budgets, growth forecasts, and resource allocation to maximize acquisition and commercial returns.

• Own and optimize the customer journey from initial acquisition through successful onboarding and first transaction.

• Drive customer growth while optimizing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), conversion rates, and channel performance.

• Improve customer activation rates, onboarding completion, and first-transaction conversion through data-driven initiatives.

• Identify and eliminate customer journey friction, onboarding drop-offs, and activation barriers.

• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Marketing, Data, Operations, and Compliance teams to enhance customer acquisition, experience and growth performance.

• Develop and execute customer segmentation, engagement, and reactivation strategies to maximize product adoption.

• Ensure onboarding processes are efficient, scalable, customer-centric, and compliant with KYC and regulatory requirements.

• Drive customer acquisition and business growth through performance marketing, paid media, SEO, SEM, and conversion-focused campaigns.

• Own performance marketing campaign performance, optimizing budgets, channel effectiveness, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and return on marketing investment (ROMI).

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Acquisition, Activation & Onboarding team.

• Provide senior leadership with actionable insights, performance reports, and recommendations to accelerate sustainable business growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Customer Acquisition, Growth, Digital Sales, Activation, or Onboarding, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience in Fintech, Payments, or high-growth digital businesses.

• Strong track record of driving customer acquisition, activation, and measurable commercial growth.

• Hands-on experience managing B2C customer acquisition funnels, digital onboarding journeys, and conversion optimization.

• Strong understanding of CAC, activation metrics, funnel analytics, customer segmentation, and growth performance.

• Knowledge of KYC, customer verification, and regulatory requirements within financial services.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage high-performing teams.

• Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, strategic planning, and execution capabilities.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
